Who Are We?
Daniell, Dagger Design Landscapes started in 1989 as a Horticultural and Landscape Consultancy services for one of Sydney’s largest North Shore Nurseries. Buoyed with success, the firm moved into landscape construction for the Nurseries client base. The firm quickly grew to a staff of ten doing landscape design & construct for the residential market.

The design & construction business grew with the forming of a co- operative relationship with Australian Native Landscapes – designing and providing onsite supervision for their landscape construction division. However the managing of construction staff was not the preference of the principals and Daniell, Dagger Design Landscapes went back into a pure design & construction consultancy rather than having a construction team.
The main stay of work for 3DL Landscape consultants is DA landscape documentation for Sydney’s major builders.
3DL produce in excess of 150 DA Landscape plans per year to councils all over QLD, NSW & Victoria. This level of work has forged a good understanding of both client and council requirements including a full understanding of ESD, Basix and the DA approval processes.
